So, if you’re back here, let’s get real. You didn’t just stumble upon this site because you had nothing to do and decided to see what there is to read on the Internet about foreclosures and short sales.

You’re here because you are experiencing financial difficulties and can’t see a way to keep up with your mortgage payments or to change your mortgage through any of the available programs. Maybe you’ve already missed a payment or two. Maybe you’ve already received a default notice from your mortgage holder.

The goal of this site is to give you enough information about the foreclosure process in Michigan and about the options that you have prior to foreclosure to allow you to make an informed decision on a course of action.  If you decide to pursue a short sale of your home, I’m here to help with that too.
